Teresa J. Pool is the
President and founder of Transitions for Life. She is a professional
coach with a passion for assisting individuals in living richer,
more fulfilling lives. Her specialty is re-energizing careers;
guiding executives, professionals and business owners through
transformational change. Transitions for Life focuses on motivating
change, supporting leaders through significant challenges,
diverting career burnout, preparing for promotion and improving
performance at all levels.
Teresa has a wealth of personal and professional
experience, giving her a unique perspective and understanding
of her clients’ needs. Teresa has over 18 years in the
global technology industry, holding a variety of leadership
roles involving performance coaching, team development, business
planning, market strategy, and change management. She has
been coaching professionally since January 2000 and is certified
by the International Coach Federation at the PCC level. A
Certified Professional Behavioral Analyst (CPBA) in both DISC
and Birkman methods, Teresa specializes in improving business
communication and relationships. She is an executive coach
for the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD) Executive
MBA Program.
Transitions for Life’s core competency
is providing one-on-one coaching services to corporate leaders,
professionals and business entrepreneurs. Clients are in a
wide variety of industries, roles and geographical locations:
Abbot Labs, Bayer, Dell Labs, Celanese, EDS, Ericsson, Fidelity
Investments, JC Penney, Novo Nordisk, PepsiCo, Purina, Sun
Healthcare, United Way. Clients experience coaching via teleconference
as Teresa is especially gifted in creating strong virtual
relationships, with clients across the US and Canada. Common

Teresa takes an active role in the community,
both from a business and personal perspective. Teresa is a

Coach Federation (ICF), 2004 President of the International
Coach Federation of North Texas, 2004 American
Business Women’s Association Business Associate
of the Year and a member of the Dallas
HR Management Association (DHRMA). She has been a volunteer
leadership mentor for the Menttium®
program since 2002. Teresa also enables the sight-impaired
to take their lives to the next level through her work as
a Southeastern
Guide Dogs volunteer and puppy raiser.
Teresa lives in Plano, Texas, with
her husband, Don, retired guide dog, Cassius, and their fifth
guide dog puppy, Luckie. |
